could you elaborate on mad men?

Mad Men is regarded as a feminist TV show in the way that it depicts the realities of sexism and racism (i guess mostly sexism) in SUCH in-your-face ways. It also has a predominantly female writing staff.

On the other hand, I also have friends who label Mad Men as a show that “people watch to reminisce about the good old days” so…

[just so y’all know where I weigh in on this, I watch and enjoy the show, and I can see how it can be seen as feminist, but I do also see it for a lot of its problems and how it can even go to romanticize 60’s style sexism with mod-style color palette and sexy costumes. and don’t get me started on race…]
