I know you’re SUPER Vine Famous and all because you incessantly have to tell everyone that you are. So I’m guessing your PO box is just riddled with fan art and poorly written love letters from your massive fan base of 13 year old girls, but I’m really hoping you get to read this.
Now, I didn’t even know you were accused of rape until I heard that the charges were being dismissed pending community service. That’s pretty strange. Usually they don’t punish the innocent with even menial community service unless they weren’t, in fact, innocent. I think it’s appalling that the California Justice System would punish a very clearly self-expressed innocent man. I heard they tried to get that innocent Zimmerman fella in Florida too. Damn corrupt governments.
Anyways, I’m writing you today because I couldn’t be more impressed with the candor in which you’ve chosen to deal with this situation. You’re really doing everything the right way. You’re a model that people like Justin Bieber should look to for support and advice especially when he’s been getting so much flack for merely driving a sports car drunk. I mean, Bieber is constantly getting shit on by people, but he just lets it go and doesn’t even acknowledge the hate. What a pussy! He should handle it more like you and start smearing all his accusers. He should drag their names through the mud because he thinks he was wronged and somehow defaming someone else’s character because they defamed yours is exactly what makes people respect your character, am I right or am I right? I think I’m right.
But he shouldn’t stop there. He should start challenging those who criticize his life and his choices to fights because that’s what you, Curtis, are doing. I mean, really what better way to convince people of your innocence than to revert to childish challenges to fights whenever someone even slightly insults you? You have to let people know that innocent people are constantly ready to hurt other innocent people simply for the opinions they carry. Innocent people rest on a fine line of constant aggression and anger. Good for you, Curtis. You’re doing it right so far. Everyone totally think you’re innocent by those standards.
Also, innocent people who have been accused of rape should definitely downplay rape and assault and all the long term, life-ruining consequences that come with them. I mean really? What in the fuck are all these rape/assault victims crying about anyways? It’s probably not the psychological damages that they will carry far after the physical damages have passed. It’s definitely not the all-encompassing feelings of shame, worthlessness, and perpetual depression that come from someone raping/assaulting someone else. It’s also definitely not the day-to-day struggles to feel trust or security or love with anyone in their life because everything that they are and everything they once were was taken by a piece of shit, shell of a human. Fucking crybabies!
I’ll tell ya, Curtis, you’re all right in my book. I say that because I see that you’re really connecting with your young fan base on Twitter. I mean, an entire fan base consisting mostly of young girls, ages 10-20, really should be exposed to tweets like, “RT if you would willingly have sex with me.” What a decidedly excellent way to convince people you’re not a sexual predator of any nature whatsoever.
I mean it’s not like hyper sexuality ever hurt anyone, right? And these young girls need more exposure to hyper sexuality now more than ever. Every single day these girls are reading magazines or watching TV/movies that show them that in order to hold any merit or respect they need to be a certain weight, a certain height, a certain race, and they need to fuck like a porn star and that’s just not enough. They need to go online and read the constant updates from people they admire. They need to read statuses and tweets about sexuality so they don’t start believing that the way they are is going to be the right way for someone someday. We need these young girls to start choking down their instincts to be themselves and start throwing up more often so they can appeal to degenerate douche bags who make six second videos of themselves dressed like a dinosaur. They need to be pretty enough, skinny enough, and sexual enough to catch the eye of someone who pretends they care about them and eventually ends up raping/assaulting them while they sleep after suffering a concussion. That’s exactly what this world needs and you’re moving us in the right direction, Curtis.
I think you’re handling everything the right way and I strongly urge you to stay course. Don’t change a thing. If you were to ever, say, log off of Twitter and Vine for awhile to expose yourself as a genuine human being that understands that any accusation of rape is a very, very serious matter and it shouldn’t be mocked even if you ended up “100% innocent”, that would just… be… awful. Really, what good could possibly come from a sincere statement that expresses how it was unfortunate for your name and life to be thrown into this mess, but you do fully understand and acknowledge that rape is nothing to joke about? What good could ever come from using your unfortunate situation to spread awareness about the severity and seriousness of rape/assault to your fan base that largely consists of young girls that don’t take the idea of rape/assault seriously until they’ve already become a victim? I’ll tell you what good could come from that and that’s no good at all.
We need to keep these girls blissfully ignorant to the fact that there are sick people out there who think rape/assault is funny or ok because the dick bag “Vine Stars” they idolize are too caught up in their own narcissism and ego to make even the smallest effort to show that they are a real fucking person who cares about others and never, under any circumstance, wants to see anyone get hurt for any reason. But that shit is for the birds, Curtis.
We need people in unwarranted positions of influence and power, like you, to be idols for these young girls because I, for one, don’t think that this world can truly know peace until there is an entire population of girls who are chronically depressed and suicidal. Thanks for doing everything that you do, Curtis.
